I know that area well. The fall colors over the next few weeks in the Rockies will be amazing.

Thanks Leo. Doesn't it make it special when you have seen the area where the photo is taken? The colors are coming early this year due to the drought and we had our first snow in the high country today so they won't last long!

Yep, it's been a long hot summer in CO and most the mid-west and the slightly lower temps are much more palatable. Those drives into the Rockies are a must just to see the wonderful fall color combinations.

So, do you actually live in Denver or one of the many suburbs? We left Aurora for Watkins about three years ago and love it out here in the country away from all of the city bustle and mixed culture.
