The Tall Ships festival is usually around the 1st week of July. The exact date kind of depends on where the ships come from before arriving in Tacoma. One correction - it's not an annual event - the next one is going to be during June 30 – July 5, 2008

I removed the other Tall Ships image since for some reason it found virtually no interest. I was not gonna waste wincustomize's disk space with something that no one was downloading) Are there similar festivals like this one in Australia, besides the one you mentioned?

small race on today for Australia Day.....the links to the ships have some interesting info.....the James Craig was a complete shell and has been beautifully restored....

when does it take place in Tacoma?....my brother's just moved over to live near there...he'd love this...
also, where's Tall Ships II gone?...
