Love the way you've interwoven the different shapes- gives a real sense of depth! I'd like to see the border somehow lend to that depth: the tubes and orbs just seem to stop at the edges. If the dark edge appeared more bevelled, either up or down, it could either make the skin look like a chunk taken out of the screen exposing the system meter, or a raised platform containing the meters. Still an innovative creation!
