What you need to do (and this is assuming you are not set to show file extensions) is first open My Documents, up on the top of the window, click on Tools and select Folder Options. In the dialog box that appears, click the tab called "View" and then scroll down the list until you see something that says "Hide extensions for known file types". Uncheck that box and click ok. Now that you have done that the rainledar file called Fireworks should now say Fireworks.zip.
What you do next is right click that folder and select the "rename" option. Rename the folder to Fireworks.r2skin and hit enter. Now you should be able to move it to the appropriate place and have it work correctly.
If you are looking at the Fireworks file and it already says Fireworks.zip, then disregard the first paragraph and move straight to the second one.

I still couldn't get the zip file renamed, when I downloaded, the window had three files in it and none of them said zip except the title of the window read Fireworks[1].zip. (after I unchecked the box you suggested)so, I took your rename suggestion, and an idea, went to the unzipped window, made a new folder, put all three files in it, and named it Fireworks.r2skin.ini.(I noticed the other skins had .ini at the end of their names) Then the file went right in! I probably didn't do it the right way, but your suggestions gave me ideas to work around things! Sorry to be so long winded about it, but I wanted to let you know what happened. Thanks again!Comment #4 Tuesday, July 03, 2007 1:14 PM
