I know but this one was harder to make than you think. Also I use commands and stuff a lot too. I use the effects sparingly but sometiems I have to becuase, for example, hand beveling is aw too hard. Anyways there is another person who uses fireworks but I forget who. I am back to Fireworks MX now I was using MX 2004

BTW I dont consider the effects taht are built into fieworks like hte demo things extra effects, i try ot use the ones above the little line though, it is hard to and with the effects I think it looks better.

i'm only using fireworks 4. i've tried the new versions...and there is no difference i can tell, besides a pretty new ui. i suppose ive jpeg compression would be handy...but not enough to drop a few hundred bucks on for the upgrade.

Oh, you are using an old version. I got it for cheap. I got the student verson since I am a student.

anybody else out there?
i'll tell you, the absolute best thing i've ever done in fw is to stop using effects, filters, and textures. the vector pen tool will become your absolute best friend.
