Cartier "disk partition that is mount to a folder": tell me more

3.61 TB of 8.01GB is a bit strange indeed

Great docklet! I, however, also have the minor issue of "drive C() has 18.71TB free of 37.25GB". Also, being able to set argumets would be nice. Thanks for the great work on this docklet!

Very nice AndreasV, only one thing ... it's good for your set of icons, and i see the .PNG in the folder but can you add the option to change the Icon for Each instance (drive) placed on my bar ?

VenomTC (1): sure, will add it straight away, what's this place for an update notice

VenomTC (2): It's someone who meant a lot to me...

xenogearz: isn't it nice? You install a docklet and suddenly your free diskspace is multiplied by 1024

Oops, made a stupid typo in the code :stupidme:

Deluxe4ever:
use this settings in the hdmonitor.ini
PercentageTextAlpha=255
PercentageTextR=255
PercentageTextG=255
PercentageTextB=255

Deluxe4ever: great, I think everyone should set there own colors/fontsizes/placements for those graphs, so that's why I added this option. Not a bad choice I guess

fix for previous post: what's should be watch (he, they sound almost the same )

AndreasV, regarding "disk partition that is mount to a folder". Starting from Windows 2000 and newer OS, the partition is no longer limited only with a drive letter (i.e. A-Z), you can assign a folder to map to that particular partition. For example I create a 4GB partition and map it to c:\mybackup folder, orginially the 4GB partition will show as drive D previously, but now I can treat it as common folder (c:\mybackup\ in this case) and just copy my backup files to that folder without concern it will use up my original drive C. Hope you understand what I mean, or I need to capture some screenshot?

Cool feature, I didn't know it. Does the "Use path" option work for you that's in the new DLL?

AndreasV, I just try with the new version of the DLL and it works! Thanks. BTW, is it possible to modify the label which is different from the drive (or the path) you specify? e.g. c:\mybackup is not enough to show up (just c:\myb... show up). also is it possible to specify font size as well?

Also I wonder is it nice if the icon colour will change (with a colour mask for instance) so that you may aware the free disk space is not enough (configurable theshold)? the bar is quite small actually when it keep as normal icon size until you zoom into it...

Anyway, just suggestion for newer version. I know it may be difficult to implement. Appreicate your works!!!

Cartier: Which label do you mean? The white one in the screenshot or the the Red C in the screenshot?

On colour mask: Excellent suggestion, I will look if I can implement it

http://home.hccnet.nl/averhoev.2/hdmonitor.dll you can set a custom label, still working on that colour mask (I need an updated gdi+ SDK, but can't find it anywhere on the net/ms-site ( )
Font size can be done in the hdmonitor.ini

VenomTC (1): It are the iCal graphics. I am porting them to this Calendar Docklet, but it's a lot of work (cut/copy/paste, cut/copy/paste, etc...)

VenomTC (2): Yes I have an e-mail and a MSN
