AndreasV - I wasn't trying to prod you, I just posted that as a workaround for others who might want to do the same. No big deal LOL

Oh, and another thing...

If you want to use a different icon without having to reset it every time you start OD, just take the icon you want and replace the mailcheck.png with it. Of course, you have to use a png and rename it to mailcheck.png.

Hey guys, if you use Mozilla like I do, you've probably already discovered that you can't open the mail client directly from mailchecker. I finally figured out a workaround so that you can open Mozilla's mail client from mailchecker.

Create a shortcut in your Mozilla folder and call it MozillaMail, and set the path to mozilla.exe. Click OK and all that. Then right-click the MozillaMail.lnk you just cerated and select properties. Modify the path by adding

-mail

OUTSIDE the quotation marks. Then set mailchecker to point to MozillaMail.lnk. You'll have to type MozillaMail.lnk in by hand because for some reason you can't browse to it and have it work.

gersma: the double-clicking is kinda tricky indeed, I personally think it's a bug in Object Dock, but I will change the way the clicking works

And again, if you like this docklet and you are using it, send me a postcard of your town to me

Very nice docklet, it realy comes in handy.
Only one thing to remark : that double clicking thing is really tricky....
When i click the icon once the headers apear, ok, when i double click, they apear another time, causing the mail icon to shift a bit to the right, result : my second click of the double click ends on the icon next to the mail icon, so starting another application...
i think this shiftproblem is caused by the header window that apears.
i personnaly think it would be better off with a rightclick menu : one that say : show headers..., the otherone : open client...

Great work otherwise, as i said very handy...

Kind Regards,
Gersma
