Just for information...

I just tried both your Digital Clock Docklet and your Network Monitor Docklet.
When configured with:

c:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe

in the 'Command' entry in the Settings of each Docklet, they both launched the system volume controls as expected.

However, the same exact entry will not work in the Master Volume Docklet.

You have to left-click and hold... left click alone will not launch the app... since that action is used to adjust the docklet settings (volume)... to launch the app, left-click and hold the button for a couple of secs... that should do it.
Anyway, the problem I have is with trying to left click the Docklet in order to launch whatever is configured in the Volume Docklet Settings in the Command/Parameters sections.

ahhhhh... I see!

I can confirm now that a left-click and hold does launch the app configured in ObjectDock. Unfortunately this particular trick doesn't work in RocketDock though... oh well. I still will be using this Docklet for sure.

Thanks fedroponce for the clarification/explanation, and thank you very much for sharing your docklets!

First of all, your Master Volume Docklet is amazing and really usefull. Yet I miss one little feature. The thing is, I have 2 Audio Devices installed and the Master Volume Docklet selects the first entry in the list of available devices. Now, I want it to control the other because the first one is just my headphone for VoIP. It would be helpful Master Volume Docklet selects the preferred device, or even be able to configure, which device to control.

In my development & testing machines I only have a single Audio Device, so I have no way to test what you are asking for. Could you please PM (or email me) so we can setup some way to develop and test what you are requesting? BTW, are you using WindowXP or Vista?

I´m sorry... I don´t know why but it does not work on my computer. I have a laptop and the only value it shows is -1% or 1% when I click on "Update now". And nothing happens when I select the other values when right-click on it and click on 50% or 100% or any other value... it stays 1% and doesn´t change the volume. Please help me figure out what´s wrong. I realy whant this docklet! Thank you!!

Hello, first of all, thanks for developing this one, it's the best volume docklet i've found, and believe me... i've been searching!.
The problem is the following: It was working smoothly on my XP machine, now i have one with Vista (Home Premium), and objectDock. I can add the docklet, I can mute(dblClick), i can pop-up the volume mixer(long left-click), and i can change the volume with right-click menu.
I can't scroll-up/down or use +/- keys to change volume, and also the volume level doesn't refresh in the docklet (unless I refresh it manually).
Do you think this bug is due to Vista? or Vista-enhanced user security?, or maybe it's the fact I use a wireless mouse?... maybe you have a hint I could use to have this fully-working... that would be just great, or maybe another user has had this bug and worked it around?... it would be just great to be able to use the scroll-wheel .
Thanks in advance!!!

As a matter of fact my main development environment is Windows Vista, I've been contacted previously by some users reporting that the +/- options are now working specially on some laptop machines (is yours a laptop?). On the other hand, I'm too using a wirless mouse (actually I have about 3 different optical/wireless mice that I used while developing it). Does the volume refreshes if it is changed via a third application (like vista's volume applet?)

Hi Smaky!,

Thanks for the fast response!

As a matter of fact... yes, I have a Vaio FZ series. And yes, if I use the volume applet, the docklet refreshes correctly. What I use now as a "sort of work around" is the long left click (which loads "SndVol.exe -f") and not needing to move the mouse out of the docklet (and since the active window in that moment is the vista's volume applet) I can use the scroll wheel to adjust volume (but the one in the vista's volume applet), which in turns refreshes the docklet and it gives me the "illusion" that the docklet works with the scroll wheel, hehehe.

Of course, it would be perfect if i could do this with the normal left-click and not needing to see the Vista's volume applet.

It is not that i am not happy, but i could be more happy hehehe, besides that, it is also my curiosity as a geek? to get to know if can blame Microsoft for this!!! hahaha Thanks again Smaky!... Keep up the nice work!

Hey, just a question or suggestion: Is there anyway to change the decrease/increase amount when you scroll the mouse? For now, each scroll only changes the volume by 1%. Because of this, when I wanna go down to say 30% from 100%, I find I need to scroll alot... Is there anyway to make it so that each scroll could decrease/increase the volume by say 10% or 20%? What would be even better would be if u could enter your own decrease/increase amount for each scroll of the mouse or press of the up/down keys. Thank you!

It's feasible... I'll include that on the next update for this docklet. (Though it may take some time sorry)

I had this on my last computer and it was great. Now, on my new one, it won't show the percentage except on the label, instead of on the icon itself. How come?

I really like it, but I experience one issue; if I add the docklet in the tabbed dock, the scroll volume control doesn't work, but in does the 'normal' dock. Any advice on fixing this?
