I have considered Paul Boyer's "FauX-s" series icons the de-facto standard to beat during the many years that I used the Windows XP OS. Now, having very recently moved on to the Windows 7 OS, I consider Pinchecl's "signal" icon set the de-facto standard to beat: excellent theme, unique in design, uniform in scope and refined in execution. Hats off to Pinchecl!

You do need iconpackager to be installed. After that simply import and apply the package
