Could you please update the codec to make easier use of Windows 8 Microsoft codec? Or just test it properly with Windows 8 and deskscapes 8? I have installed the media center pack and it just doesn't want to work.

It must be a trend. I, too, am experiencing the same difficulty as <ianst102453342>.
Win7-64 unable to run this using Beta 8.
Too bad. A major StarTrek freak am I, and this looks particularly good.

Same as the guys above, was really looking forward to your LCARS dream but it doesn't work for me 
(I'm on Windows 7 x64 bit).
