However, IT DOESN'T WORK! I have used every other dream here without issue. I have made my own & used them without issue. WMV & MPG work fine - even huge ones. I can switch between all different types of backgrounds, but whenever I try one of these two, I get nothing, but my CPU pegs 100% on both cores. If the previous background was a dream, I get a freeze frame of that dream. If the previous was wallpaper, there's no change. I've rebooted twice.
I'm running an EVGA 680i mobo, PentiumD 915 (2.8), 2GB Corsair pc6400, WD 10,000 rpm system drive & a PNY GeForce7300GT.
Anyone experience anything similar?

I've run these on a 945 Core 2 laptop, and even an old Athlon 64 754 AGP system without any problems. In fact, the laptop has problems with lots of dreams, with incorrect colors and freezing, but not these two.

And he's gone...
It's one thing to not want to support the site that is providing free Dreams itself as providing bandwidth to let others share theirs but it's another thing to actually advocate stealing from us.

'fraid we haven't seen any problems with it. Make sure you havne't installed a third party media player that might take over MPEG player. Most Dreams here are WMV but some media players take over handling MPEG which can be a problem.

Thanks for the response. It looks like that may be it. I went back and tried every dream I have and now there are a few that are doing the same thing. They are probably the mpg dreams. I have recently installed several ULEAD video programs.
But what do you mean by "take over MPEG player"? WMP is still my default mpg player. Is there some other setting I'm unaware of?
Thanks for the help,
John

I was thinking that was next!
I'm no saint, but I am really getting troubled about the isssue of content protection/DRM
I like free stuff as much as the next guy, but at the same time, why are digital often considered to be too expensive. Like moives on DVD or whatever is your prefered distribution mechinism. Some people think that they are too expensive and should only cost $5.
Personally, I think cars, houses, and gas are to exspensive and should only cost $5. Unfortuantely, those can be downloaded.
BTW, bought this dream and I like it. I just won't eat out for lunch for a day!

Awww just for kicks ill say it again since the admins are reading this. Frogboy, are there any plans to possibly develop these master dreams in such a way as to alow us to see them on our computers before buying? I dont know how well this would work or if it would be secure but one way to do this could be to make a version that ends with a big "buy this at wincustomize.com" and does not loop. It would be useless other than to see what it looks like. It would be very nice to see this thing in action before actually buying it. You say you guys are not scam artists or what not, and I beleive you, but to prove it, I would like to see you have the confidence in your work to alow us to really see it before buying it.

Looping is just the video ending and restarting. Can't make it not loop. And if you just put the "demo" text at the end of the video, all anyone has to do is use a video tool to chop off the end and they are good to go.
But you *could* put the "demo" text in the ENTIRE video. Then it could not be removed. Then people could see if they like it and if they like it enough to remove the "demo" text then they would buy it.
This is how some screensavers I've seen work. It seems effective while allowing people to not get burned. I did not buy the first premium dream because all I had to go on was the picture and the little video. And then the description said the little video did not do it justice. Not enough to get me to buy it. But maybe if I saw the full version I'd change my mind.

That is a shame because i bet your sales would go up. I might actually buy it if i could see it on my comp first.
