Gregll: It's probably a bad gadget cash.
you can find and delete it at:
"C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Stardock\DesktopX\GadgetCache\aerial Player Gadget"
delete everything inside there and try load the gadget again.
The gadget also crate and store playlists at "C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\Music\Playlists" but this file will not prevent the player to load/work.

This update got me using the awesome windowblind again! Is there a way to change the font on the info display to a decent cleartype font? Its the only thing that lets it down.... But unless there is a widget version I can't modify it myself with DX can I?
