Hi Leth,

Big Thanks for your comment.

Regrettably but it is not a widget. I happened to make this device as a gadget because otherwise a lot of its functions worked incorrect. So there are no ways to edit something in it...

However I promised for Mr. Mrdarb and other people that I'll make this gadget much bigger. It's necessary a little time for me to finish some interesting project. Then I'll concern with increase of SD Navigator immediately. It will be a present crock.

I have made the full version of this device for DesktopGadgets only. But seems that it did not hitherto pass the aproval there...

Best Regards.

I just discovered this Gem. This is the best and most comprehensive system monitoring/managing widget that i have ever used. My only complain is that at higher resolutions like 1280x1024 or above the text becomes very hard to see( i have a monitor that use 1920x1200 so it is almost impossible to see the test there )

I have the whole stardock OD suite. What else do I need to get the full version of this great widget? Despite the fact that I have been a long time OD user, I never actually used desktopX extensively. (I am a performance freak ) Seeing that this is a DesktopX widget is it possible to edit it somehow? So that I can try to make the widget fit better with higher res? (I hate the thought of making you work more )

Again thank you for the awesome widget.

Hi Brad,

Big thanks for your great estimations of my modest activity.

But it seems me that you have got the old version of this gadget (at least the version 4.0 still inaccessible for downloading on DesktopGadgets...). If to you have got version 3.09 give me please your e-mail and I'll send you the last update of SD Navigator.

With Big Respect,

Brilliant stuff!

I've been avoiding anything to do with DesktopX for a long while now due to the many headaches it was giving me, but this "gadget" was way too cool to pass up. I assume because it's a gadget and doesn't rely on DesktopX then it doesn't have the inherent problems? Seems to work great with me.

The only problems I can find are the same as has already been mentioned, ie; a bit hard to read (my 46yr old eyes and my 1280 x 1024 res?), but it looks like you're onto these things and should have them sorted out before too long. Eagerly looking forward to your updates!

I was wondering what is the story with the full version, as this one has some extra features missing from it, (calender, clock, to do, web browser, etc.), or is that one still in the works for a latter release?

All the Best to you Vad_M and keep up the good work!
Brad (not the boss!)

Thanks for the reply Vad. I will try again and see what happens. I have two registry cleaners maybe one of them mistakenly deleted this data.

For JinnRikki:

I have not thought about this absolutely! Thence follows that registry is not a most reliable place for keeping data...

So I'll put all data into the "navigator.ini" file in the next version.

Big Thanks.

Comment #30 Saturday, April 15, 2006 11:51 AM
thank you vary much for this fantastic most wonderful wigit ever made. i think stardock should offer you a job over here at top money+ me thinks you could brain storm them all into the groung that said, i have founf that by putting the zip file into it's own folder in "my documents" it will load without a problem .i suppose you could make a shortcut to the file ,but then, once it is loaded nothing will made me close it thanks again

To Mr Tom:

Most certainly this will be made but several later. I have too much other unfinished plans and projects alas. However I can say that this will be absolutely other concept of SD Navigator Graphic Design.

So give me a little time and all will be OK.

Best Regards.

This is just too cool!

this is THE most amazing thing i have EVER seen.

the only thing that would make this better is size

size size size.

I'm running on max resolution and this thing is TINY

i literally have to get nose-to-monitor to read what the little buttons say.

If you could add a font size option, then this would be the most perfect tool out there.

Great job, by the way, truly impressive.

To jbxspartan:

Big Thanks!

Yes it's really little... But I maked it for 1024x768 resolution. And I wanted that this tool make my desktop free. Then I tryed to create a "Large version" but my work has lost a sense because I have done SD Launchbar which keep all of my shortcuts. So it was leaved in its size...

But I have nearly finished the enormous work with SD Desktop. It will be a MEGA GADGET where you will find all System Meters as in the System Navigator and a lot of other useful tools and functions. Please wait a bit.

The overall interaction with this widget is good. The only problem I seem to be having is when I attempt to open the computer monitor, I get an error message. I don't know if it is because of my computer or some script.

Hiya! I just want to say that your sd widgets are awesome!(specially that weather widget, so much information in little size), but i don't know what went wrong cause this widget didn't install to my computer, it just said that sd system navigator stoped working, is there any solutions about this? It didn't appear to my desktop My Os: DesktopX (latest edition) Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 32BIT (HP Pavilion dv5-1060eo Entertainment PC)
