Quite the bit of irony. Glad you enjoy it! I should update Digital Revenge with the tray customizers too.

Thanks. This one didn't go through 6 months of beta testing like the Digital Revenge, so no news is good news! Seems to be working properly for all. I have other features that are being added like a widget launcher, and an easier way to add icons to the trays... but those are for later days.

One question though: How do you change color? I can't seem to get the changer to work.
Comment #8 Saturday, August 20, 2005 6:53 AM
There is no color changer, as there is barely zero color in this theme.

In 1024/768 mode the side bar extends down to where the bottom tab is overlaying the bottom bar. It does it slightly so at the resololution of 1152/864 There is plenty of room at the top to move it up and clear the bottom bar.

Just wanted to make you aware. Great job otherwise.

CoachDoug1, Yeah, I know it does that. But I'd have to script especially for resolutions less than 1280x1024, and I don't know if I'm that ambitious. lol

im havin sum problems with it. the taskbar icons on the bottom right dont show up. and r there any controls on the bar on tha left of the screen. i want to make it so its always there instead of auto-hide. is there a way i can do that?

Sventekoz, the wallpaper is everwhere, so I don't remember where I got it from.

ShaniAbid, are you meaning the Systray icons? It may just simply be that you have not restarted your computer since DesktopX was installed. And allowing the sidebar tabs to always show may be a feature in an additional version.

Very nicely done! And about the wall, I can't seem to find it anymore... mind giving us a link or a name to run in google?

Comment #14 Thursday, August 25, 2005 8:56 PM
yea tha systray icons. and ive restarted it since i installed desktopX but not since i installed the theme. and is the sidebar on the left supposed to come up wen ur mouse goes there cuz i have to double click on the side for it to come up

I'm having trouble with the sidebar getting cut-off about half way through the Audio shelf. I did everything as explained and that is the only thing that isn't working but seeing as it cuts off 2 and a half trays it makes it a little tough to use.. Any ideas?

UPDATE: I tried again this time setting the resolution to 1280X1024, loading and then changing to 1600X1200 and everything seems to be fine. One thing though, would it be possible to make the side bar customizable as far as the number of trays to show? I don't need all of these trays but it would be kewl to be able to use just a few of them.

It's a beauty! Didn't think I'd be changing Digital Revenge for a while but yep, this latest iteration rocks!

Regarding Zoomers Chad, I've been trying to mail you but to no avail mate... wonder if you could help me out here.

I've tried to make a zoomer using your PS action and what I have now is a PNG file with the various states that will go to make the zoomer. But how do I make that PNG file into an actual zoomer?

I followed your instructions but always get to this stage and no further.

cheers mate, great work.

Tarinuk... keep following the instructions, you're almost there. Note the "sample zoomer" incuded in the download. Use that to create your new creations.
