I have double checked, had testers check, I can't reproduce the errors.
I believe you may be missing a few plugins, DX 4.0 is missing some, unless you had your old ones backed up.
I have tried the Beta 3 times on two different rigs, I find it unuseable.

Clock gadget and widget are also working
(finally the DesktopX theme and the Media gadget /widget are generating errors
)
